The details of the Programme may change. You should of course take the opportunity
to explore other parts of Ireland either before or after the Rally. Please note
that the dates for the Rally are a little earlier than usual.
Rally Hotel
The Hotel where we will be based is the Hodson
Bay in very pleasant surroundings outside of Athlone on the shores of Lough
Ree.
The rates for the Rally are for 7 nights B&B for two people sharing 820 Euros
(410 Euros each); 13-16 years old 280 Euros; 3-12 years 210 Euros; children 0-2
years free.
You will need to identify yourself as being a participant in the Clann Egan Rally
when you book by calling the Hotel directly. They should then confirm the Rally
rate and take your credit/debit card number as security. Payment is due in full
at checkin. We do not know the cancellation policy at this time so please ensure
your travel insurance is in place.
Out of Pocket Expenses
Out of pocket expenses for the Rally including registration, coach, entrance fees and the Banquet etc. are estimated to be approximately 160 Euros per
person. This will be payable in CASH at Registration as we do not have credit card facilities.
Lunches and dinners which, except for the Banquet, are not included are anticipated to be around 12 Euros and 30 Euros respectively
depending of course on how hungry you are.
Redwood Castle Tours - Private Arrangements
Access to Redwood Castle is unlikely
to be part of the 2021 Rally. If you wish to visit you will need to make your
own arrangements directly with the Castle
for groups of up to seven.
The Rally is at a time when the Castle is normally closed and so staff will have to be arranged. The Castle will therefore ask you to provide your contact details and credit card
details with charges applying for non or late attendance.
Preferably you should arrange your visit in conjunction with our luncheon stop in Lorrha. Depending on your travel arrangements and Castle constraints the arrival or departure days may also be feasible.
