The Rally headquarters hotel will be the Bradford Hotel at Lincoln Park www.bradfordsuites.com. The Bradford Hotel is in suburban North Dallas just one block behind a shopping centre with some restaurants, a big Barnes & Noble Bookstore (with a Starbucks Coffee area), several shops and a Texas size Tom Thumb Grocery Store (which has a pharmacy and a good selection of beers and wines). It is across Northwest Highway from Northpark Shopping Centre www.northparkcenter.com, which is a world class air conditioned shopping mall with Neiman Marcus and three other large department store anchors, a multitude of smaller shops and a variety of restaurants. Northpark has a tax rebate arrangement for international shoppers www.shoptexastaxfree.com . Further, about two blocks in another direction from the Bradford is Greenville Avenue along which are a number of fast food and other restaurants plus liquor stores and a number of other shops. The Tipperary Inn, which has Guinness and often Irish pub singing, is in easy driving/cab range. There are a variety of churches in the vicinity. The location is safe, and is near where Byron and Nancy live.

Rooms at the Bradford have own bathroom, kitchenette (with refrigerator, toaster, microwave, sink, dishes, etc.), TV, telephone, high-speed internet connection, etc. The Bradford also has free continental breakfast, fitness centre, business centre with computers for guest use, swimming pool, guest laundry facility, parking garage, etc. The Bradford is not luxurious, but it is new, the price is reasonable and the necessary amenities are in the hotel or close by. The Bradford does not have a restaurant or bar, but we can bring our own liquor for use in the hospitality area and elsewhere.

Rooms can be booked immediately and contact details are:

Bookings should be made directly with the hotel, referencing the Clan Egan Association and the contract group rate which applies from the 12th -16th July inclusive. Check-in is 3pm and checkout 11am.

As the Dallas area is quite spread out, many people will choose to rent a car at the airport (there is free parking at the Bradford). Cabs are readily available at the airports, but usually elsewhere pick-ups have to be arranged by telephone. We plan to arrange a bus to take us from the Bradford to most Rally events. July is a hot month in Texas with temperatures often exceeding 100°F in the daytime and hovering close to 80°F at night, but we have good air conditioning.
