Mildura and District Music Scene
Mildura in common with many country towns had a very active music scene. At
the time the Cyners were formed there were a number of modern bands being formed
inspired in part by the emergence of largely Baby Boomer bands in the UK. The
Rhythm Rockets dominated the scene through their weekly dances at the Ballerina
Ball Room but the times were changing.
