LSI/VLSI Microelectronics Design Project (1984-1986)

This project at RMIT produced a commercial version of CIRCAD which was a tool set for standard-cell and gate-array design. CIRCAD was initially developed for the undergraduate teaching program associated with the CSIRO Multi Project Chip Program led by Craig Mudge.

CIRCAD, unlike most tool sets of the day which required a large Vax 11/780, ran on personal computers.
