A Core Partner in ANSPAG. ANSPAG and Telstra Research laboratories have collaborated on a number of projects, most notably the Experimental Broadband Network, which was the precursor to Telstra's commercial ATM network.
A Core Partner in ANSPAG. Siemens has an interest in ATM switching and transmission equipment, which fits closely with the interests of ANSPAG reserachers.
Hewlett Packard have a major facility near CTIE's laboratory. They have recently donated a Broadband Series Protocol Analyser to ANSPAG to assist with performance measurement and interoperability testing.
SGI are contributors to the Digital Media Library project and have contributed one of their Challenge series video servers to the project. There has been considerable interaction with the SGI and Cosmo MediaBase development teams in the US in relation to this project.
Cinemedia, formerly State Film Centre of Victoria and Film Victoria, initiated the Digital Media Library project which involves the digitisation of video titles for use in the Cinemedia Access Collection. This collection of digital video is currently being made available to selected users on a pilot trial basis. The service could be available to the public as soon as late 1998. The collection is being digitised by the Encoding Unit at Monash University and currently stands at over 200 hours of material.
Tennyson TechnologiesANSPAG conducted a nine month software engineering project for Tennyson Technologies' ISDN Gateway card.
First Virtual CorporationThe McIVER system makes use of FVC server, workgroup switch and interface card technologies. The FVC development team in California are in frequent contact with ANSPAG.
