Network Research

ANSPAG takes a very practical and pragmatic approach to its R&D work, researching and developing workable, cost-effective network approaches and designing methodologies for effective network design. ANSPAG aims to use the knowledge it accumulates and creates for the wider benefit of the Australian networking community and to support and provoke applications that take advantage of emerging advanced network systems. In order that ANSPAG maintains a leading role in this area, it is constantly looking to increase its volume of higher level technical research. This is achieved through the research endeavours of ANSPAG staff and engineers and also through a postgraduate program.

ANSPAG currently supports a number of postgraduate students and is continually looking for more high quality students to research a long list of issues that ANSPAG have identified. Any interested graduates, post-graduates or post-doctorates should contact ANSPAG for further information.

ANSPAG staff are also deeply involved in the academic review of journals, conference papers and postgraduate theses. ANSPAG is one of the founders of the ATNAC Conference and a key contributor to its content.

ANSPAG staff and researchers also regularly publish papers and reports.
